Five people including a Brampton man and a casino dealer have been arrested after allegedly working together to scam a casino resort in Toronto.
The alleged fraud happened at the Great Canadian Casino Resort Toronto according to the OPP, who says investigators and the Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) were alerted to the scheme on March 18.
Police say a table games dealer was “in collusion” with patrons of the casino, but did not disclose the nature of the scam or how much money was potentially lost.
An investigation into the fraud has led police to lay fraud, theft and other charges against five people including a 21-year-old from Brampton.
