New York casinos are still keeping pace with last year’s record-setting performance. But September’s revenue report was a downer for three of the four commercial casinos in NY, according to state gaming regulators.
Collectively, the upstate casinos reported just under $59.6 million in gross gaming revenue (GGR) last month. The monthly revenue total for the NY casinos represents a 3.5% year-over-year decline from September 2022.
Year-to-date, the four licensed upstate NY casinos have reported $514.6 million in gross gaming revenue, just 0.01% shy of the $514.7 million through the same period last year.
In 2022, the four casino properties combined for more than $690.5 million in annual gambling revenue, according to New York State Gaming Commission data.
