Sports gambling, it used to be legal in Las Vegas only. Indiana starting rolling in the fall of 2019 and now sports gambling goes live in Ohio starting Jan. 1.
A total of $58 billion was legally bet on sports in America last year, that’s up from only $22 billion in 2020, and those are just the legal wagers
As a business, sports gambling is growing like a summer weed. The president of Hard Rock Cincinnati, George Goldoff, is happy to be bringing a slice of sin city to Cincinnati.
“I think it’s going to be one of the premier jurisdictions. All of the predictions say so. We’re going to have something I call a ‘man cave in the sky.’ Which is in our mezzanine level of the Hard Rock Café,” Goldoff said.
