Jansen has called time on his role as the KSA’s Chairman due to his reaching retirement age at the end of 2023.

The decision marks the end of an era for Jansen and the KSA, as he has served in the role since 2018 – during which time he oversaw many regulatory and cultural shifts in regard to gambling in the Netherlands.

On his decision to step down, Jansen said: “In recent years I have committed myself to the KSA’s mission of safe play with great energy and pleasure.”
