Cheltenham Festival will be incorporating a new system for dynamic bets through a partnership between Racecourse Media Group (RMG) and Playtech Sports. The system will allow players to place their bets as the races occur in real time. In-play betting will be available in almost 16,000 Self Service Betting Terminals (SSBTs) across Great Britain and Ireland.
Playtech Sports Managing Director, Lee Drabwell, highlighted: “This is a major step forward in enhancing the betting shop experience by further digitalising betting opportunities through SSBTs.”
Playtech’s SSBTs are available in all Betfred, BoyleSports and Paddy Power shops, plus all independent betting shops.
Meanwhile, RMG also partnered with Quantum Leap Solutions and Pythia Sports in launching the new service.
