Playtech Live CEO Edo Haitin is set to leave the business after nearly a decade of service. Haitin, who first joined Playtech in 2016, announced his departure in a LinkedIn post. Throughout his tenure, he has played a pivotal role in expanding the company’s live casino division.

NEXT.io understands that Haitin will be leaving Playtech to pursue other career interests and personal projects.

When contacted, Playtech informed NEXT.io that Marat Koss will take over the firm’s live casino division, in an expanded role as the company’s new chief interactive gaming officer.

In his prior roles, Koss was instrumental in establishing Playtech’s poker vertical as the industry’s largest B2B poker network and transforming its bingo vertical to drive growth.
