Per Jaldung to step down from Sweden’s Casino Cosmopol

Per Jaldung will resign from his position as CEO of Casino Cosmopol after 20 years with the company. He is expected to leave his role at the end of 2022.

Holding his position since 2008, Jaldung has overseen the opening of the operator’s casino in Stockholm, where Sweden’s Deputy Prime Minister performed the first spin on the roulette wheel.

According to Jaldung’s statement, he has worked through of slew of incidents, including robberies and gunshots at the casino, reports of discrimination, penalty fees from gaming authorities, legal investigations and floods & fires on the gaming floor.

However, Jaldung also notes more positive events, such as being granted Chairmanship of the European Casino Association, experiencing the University of Nevada-Las Vegas’ Executive Development Programme, acting as Chairman of the VLT projects and attending many awards and shows.
