Ownership of the Nittany Mall casino may be changing but a final decision won’t come down for another month due to an extension.
The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board and The Office of Enforcement Counsel were granted a 30-day extension to review a petition.
This comes after SC Gaming and Saratoga Casino Holdings recently signed an agreement to develop and manage the casino. The deal has to wait for the PA Gaming Control Board’s approval before it can go through.
In January, construction officially began at the Nittany Mall casino after the Pennsylvania Supreme Court decided in favor of the PA Gaming Control Board.
