Pennsylvania: Live! Casino Pittsburgh infused over $155M into state and local economy during second year of operation

In Nov. 2022, the Live! Casino Pittsburgh, located in Westmoreland County, celebrated its second anniversary after opening during the pandemic in 2020.

The casino reported that during its second year of operation, it contributed over $155 million to the local and state economy.

Over the past 12 months, the casino said that it paid almost $1.2 million in local taxes to Hempfield Township, and that it paid $54 million to the Pennsylvania Department of Revenue in gaming taxes.

“Our main goal at Live! Casino has always been focused on how we can impact our local community in a positive manner,” Sean Sullivan, general manager of Live! Casino, said in a release.
