Parimatch has revealed a deal with Botafogo de Futebol e Regatas as the operator takes the main branding spot on the team’s kit for the next two years.

The deal has been labelled ‘of great importance’ in Parimatch’s growth plans in the country, and is also the Campeonato Brasileiro Série A club’s biggest sponsorship contract in its 128-year history.

Although Brazilian sports betting is currently at a crossroads after former President Jair Bolsonaro failed to meet the legislative deadline to regulate the sector in December, the potential of the market is widely recognised and keenly anticipated.
