Patrons soon will be able to lift weights and hoist drinks at the city’s newest attraction that has nothing to do with gambling.
A project nearing completion on a sandy lot next to the Showboat Resort Atlantic City includes an outdoor gym and fitness area, two pop-up bars and an eatery just off the Boardwalk between the Showboat and Ocean Casino Resort.
While aspects of the project still need approval from the Casino Reinvestment Development Authority, applicant Tony Chowdhury hopes to have his Fusion Gym open on at least a partial basis next week…
The project is just the latest in a series of developments Atlantic City has rolled out this summer for its stated goal of diversifying its offerings to appeal to gambling and non-gambling tourists alike.
