Elsbeth Seymour of South Medford likes to head to the former Roxy Ann Lanes site to hunt for creatures in the game Pokemon Go. She said it’s a way to pass the time – but still wishes the area had more things to do.

“I would definitely like to see more (entertainment),” Seymour said. “We’ve got the Family Fun Center, but that’s kind of limited and pretty much it.”

A different type of gaming might be coming to the site of the former bowling alley – a 30,000 square foot casino built by the Coquille Indian Tribe. Named “the Cedars at Bear Creek,” the gaming facility is intended to bring in more revenue for the tribe and entertainment to the area.
