Bear spray was accidentally deployed just outside of Spirit Mountain Casino on Tuesday morning, impacting 20 people, the Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde Department of Emergency Services said.
Crews initially responded to the scene after receiving a report of a gas leak. However, the call was upgraded to a “mass causality incident” after it was determined that nearly two dozen people were affected.
