Opportunities for advancement and change are almost a sure bet at Casino Rama, says Tanya Gabara, director of public relations for Gateway Casinos and Entertainment Ltd., which operates the casino.
“I think it’s really the opportunities to move around and grow your career within one company … that’s part of our employment advantage,” she explained.
Casino Rama has been through some drastic changes in the past few years. In July 2018, management of its operations – along with that of two other central Ontario gaming centres – were taken over by Gateway.
In an effort to “maximize efficiency” at Casino Rama, Gateway underwent rounds of mass layoffs. The company also began renovating all areas of the property.
