Gateway Casinos is warning its employees about a possible breach of personal information following the recent cyber attack that shut down a number of casinos for several weeks.
In a statement Monday, officials said that while their investigation is still ongoing, the company understands that the incident may have resulted in the theft of personal information of certain current and former employees in Ontario, Alberta, and British Columbia.
“At this time we are not aware of any misuse of information,” read the statement. ” However, we take the privacy and security of personal information very seriously and want to make sure our employees are kept informed.”
