A major development is underway in Elk City, bringing a massive casino, hotel and convention center to the city.
The Cheyenne and Arapaho Tribes broke ground on their “most aggressive project to date,” which is a 56,000-square-foot Lucky Star casino that features 750 machines, a food court and a steakhouse. The plans also include a 65,000-square-foot hotel with 100 rooms, an indoor pool and a fitness center.
The entertainment destination is being built at 327 S. Eastern, which sits just south of Interstate 40 and is west of the Walmart and Hobby Lobby in the city.
