The Oklahoma Indian Gaming Association’s annual conference in Oklahoma City is showcasing the latest games and technology set to appear in casinos across the state.
Matthew Morgan, chairman of the Oklahoma Indian Gaming Association, said he is proud of the group’s contributions to the state. “We’ve been growing,” Morgan said.
While Indian gaming was on display, bringing sports betting to Oklahoma was also a topic of discussion. “We’re one of the few states that haven’t legalized it yet,” Morgan said.
This year, a sports betting bill advanced further than ever in the state Capitol, reaching 75% of the way to passage.
