Ohio’s casinos and racinos set a September record for table and slot machine gambling revenue, reports from the Ohio Lottery and Casino Control commissions show.

The 11 facilities statewide took in $191.9 million in gambling revenue, after paying out winnings. That’s a 1.7% increase from the previous record of $188.6 million set in September 2022. These totals exclude wagering on sports and horse races.

Business was up in Greater Cleveland because of increases at the two JACK properties, despite a decline year-over-year at MGM Northfield Park.

JACK Cleveland Casino had $21.96 million in gambling revenue, up slightly from $21.94 million in September a year ago. JACK Thistledown Racino was up 3.6% with $15.4 million in comparison to $14.9 million a year earlier.
