The future of gaming in the Big Apple lies in New York City.
On Monday, all three New York City casino applicants were approved for commercial licenses by the State Gaming Commission. Bally’s Bronx, Metropolitan Park and Resorts World will be coming to the downstate area; but when?
The timeline for all of the now-approved casinos opening stretches into the next decade, but one is expected to be operational in mere months, according to the Gaming Facilities Locations Board approval report.
Resorts World at Aquaduct Race Track is scheduled to open its expanded facility in March 2026, with the full project expected to be complete in 2031.
