Officers found over 100 illegal gambling games at a Charlotte arcade after the manager was shot during a robbery attempt last week, police announced Thursday.
The shooting happened on Tuesday, March 4 in CYBER SPOT ARCADE’s parking lot along West Boulevard near West Tyvola Road.
Police said the victim of the shooting, which was an alleged failed robbery attempt, was the manager of the arcade. The person’s injuries were non-life-threatening.
Upon further investigation, detectives obtained a search warrant for the business, which was deemed an illegal gambling operation.
