From a married date-night destination to a place to breathe in the salt air while ducking out of meeting rooms to take cellphone calls, Gov. Mikie Sherrill has always loved the Atlantic City Boardwalk.
And she thinks it could help make the city more family friendly as visitors come for business and stay for fun.
In a recent interview with The Press of Atlantic City, the Democratic governor said she envisions more commerce being done along the world-famous wooden walkway.
And she said the Boardwalk can help Atlantic City compete with other resort destinations like Las Vegas where there are plenty of other things to do besides gambling.
