The Empire State enjoyed its largest legal sports betting mobile handle of the month during the week that ended April 23, and represented a strong bounce back. New York Gaming Commission reported that the state took in $371.3 million in mobile wagers that week, which was up from the $321.3 million in the previous week.
The week that ended April 23 wasn’t a better one for sports bettors, as a hold of 13% for the sportsbooks was sustained for the second consecutive week.
The $45 million in gross gaming revenue for the week was also a monthly high for the Empire State.
New York has accumulated a little over $1 billion in mobile wagers over the last three weeks.
