New York’s October figures for legal sports betting set state records… and then things were even better in November.
Numbers reported today by the New York State Gaming Commission, revealed that the state’s online sports betting sites handled approximately $1.55 billion in wagers for November, a slight increase from October’s $1.54 billion.
Gross gaming revenue from mobile sports wagering in New York set the state record in October at $145.7 million… and that was topped last month as November brought in $148.2 million — a $2.5-million increase and a slightly better hold (9.5%) than last October’s 9.4% win rate.
Unsurprisingly, FanDuel and DraftKings were again the kings of New York, accounting for 73.7% of the statewide handle, but FanDuel’s gains seemed to come at DK’s expense.
