The New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement reported on Friday $273.2 million in online casino revenue for December, setting a new record in the process. December’s haul shatters October’s record $260.3 million.

Not only did December set a new monthly record, but it also pushed the Garden State into yearly record territory, with a $2.91 billion win for the operators in 2025.

Year-over-year, December’s number was 19.8% higher than 2024, and the $2.91 billion yearly number represented a 22% growth over the 2024 calendar year.

This also marked the 17th consecutive month the operators cleared $200 million in revenue.

The state collected nearly $60.7 million in taxes from the online casinos, pushing the number for 2025 to nearly $581.9 million. The state bumped the taxes this year to 19.75%, which took effect on July 1.

Total gaming revenue for casinos, racetracks, and their partners was $605.6 million for December 2025, which was 15.9% higher compared to last December. And for the year, total gaming revenue came in at $6.98 billion a 10.8% growth over 2024.
