Andy Sanborn’s plan to build a 43,000-square-foot casino in Concord faces another hurdle, meeting the conditions set by the planning board, after the New Hampshire Supreme Court ruled that a Concord resident lacks the legal standing to challenge the city’s approval of the project.
Danielle Pacik, the city’s solicitor, said that with all legal challenges to the proposed casino on Break O’ Day Drive off Loudon Road now resolved, Sanborn is continuing to try to meet the conditions set by the city.
“The applicant has applied for a one-year extension to meet those conditions in accordance with the site plan regulations,” Pacik said in a statement to the Monitor. “It is anticipated that the request for an extension will be reviewed by the Planning Board at its next meeting.”
