A multi-million-dollar remodel of The Federal Hotel, Seven Grille and Max Casino is almost complete.
Owner Rory Bedore, who purchased the property in 2011, said the upgrades of the restaurant and hotel are 95% done, and the casino is about 65% finished.
He said they have redone all 92 hotel rooms, which include lofts on the fifth floor, along with four suites, 11 patio rooms and double queen and king rooms.
Sam Mozingo, who recently became hotel manager, noted that the fifth floor lofts have a unique look with a ceiling that includes piping.
The rooms on the second floor feature teakwood walls and floors in their outdoor patios.
