The Reno-Sparks Convention and Visitors Authority board of directors voted 7-1 at its monthly meeting to delay a decision on the two finalists, Chicago-based DHR Global and Florida-based Winner Partners.

Instead, the RSCVA voted to wait until three new members join the board in July so they can have input in the process.

Board chair Charlene Bybee was the lone “no” vote. Board member Ann Silver was not present for the vote.
