The Netherlands Gambling Authority chairman Michel Groothuizen has been unanimously appointed as a board member of the Gambling Regulators European Forum (GREF).
Founded in 1989, GREF is a non-profit organisation of gambling regulators intended to facilitate the exchange of ideas and discussion of policies, through dialogue and working groups.
Groothuizen has been appointed as a general member of the organisation’s board for the period 2025-2027. On the board, he joins chair Isabelle Falque-Pierrotin, who is also chair of French gambling regulator the ANJ.
Other members include Danish Gambling Authority director Anders Dorph, Gambling Commission executive director Tim Miller, [and] Alderney Gambling Control Commission general counsel Sarah Kelly.
