Workers at Encore Boston Harbor in Everett, Massachusetts, could vote this week to go on strike after a breakdown in contract negotiations.

After Encore took in $847 million in Boston last year, 1,350 workers, including housekeepers, cooks, servers, bartenders and slot attendants, said they deserve fair contracts. Their contracts with Wynn Resorts expire Aug. 31.

The two unions that represent those workers, UNITE HERE Local 26 and Teamsters Local 25, will vote Wednesday and Thursday on whether to authorize a strike.
