Thirty years after Mohegan Sun Casino opened, its president and general manager describes the gaming and entertainment complex along the Thames River in southeastern Connecticut as something “in a constant state of evolution.”
That evolution applies to both casino’s physical plant as well as moves that Mohegan Sun’s leadership and workforce makes to meet the changing expectations of today’s consumers, said Jeff Hamilton.
“The expectations of the guest has changed,” Hamilton said in a recent interview. “Thirty years ago, casino gambling was not available in most places throughout the country, so just the ability to play slot machines or table games was enough.”
