Emely Pascual-Alvarez, a table games dealer at Mohegan Sun, won the second annual G2E Dealer Championship during the Global Gaming Expo in Las Vegas. Pascual-Alvarez competed in blackjack and roulette against dealers from casinos across North America to earn the championship and a $5,000 prize.
The three-day competition featured 50 dealers who were evaluated on a 10-point scale based on skill, technical ability, professionalism and player experience. Pascual-Alvarez earned her place in the competition through a two-day qualifying event at Mohegan Sun involving more than 20 dealers.
“It was beyond a thrill to take part in this competition, and to win feels surreal as there were so many incredible dealers,” said Pascual-Alvarez.
