Missouri casinos ended the year on a good note, posting $169.1 million in December revenue, up 7% from December 2022.
December’s revenue growth was key not only for monthly performance, but the annual increase in dollars this past month pushed the state’s 2023 total revenue past what it brought in the year before.
Heading into December, it wasn’t a certainty if the state’s 13 casinos would be able to generate enough revenue by the end of the year to surpass 2022’s total revenue of $950,046,936.
They did, thanks to a rare occurrence: All 13 casinos in Missouri posted positive growth month-on-month… In addition to seeing positive yearly revenue growth, all 13 casinos brought in more revenue in December compared to November 2023 Missouri gaming revenue.
