The Michigan Gaming Control Board (MGCB) is expanding its responsible gambling outreach with a new program that partners with high school sports booster clubs across the state.

The initiative, announced this week, invites booster clubs to help promote the state’s “Don’t Regret the Bet” responsible gambling campaign while raising funds for school athletic programs.

Participating organizations can earn up to $4,000 by displaying responsible gaming messaging at sporting events. It also includes their community outreach channels.

MGCB officials say the effort aims to counter the increasing amount of gambling content young people encounter through sports broadcasts, social media, and other digital platforms.
