MGM Springfield closed 2023 by generating $23.6 million in gross gambling revenue from slots and table games in December.
That number, reported Tuesday by the Massachusetts Gaming Commission, was the largest monthly total since $23.7 million was reported in April 2023. It beat the $21 million reported in November and the $22.5 million reported a year ago in December 2022.
Taken together, Plainridge Park Casino, MGM Springfield and Encore Boston Harbor generated about $103.04 million in gross gambling revenue last month.
Additionally, about $60.55 million in taxable sports wagering revenue was generated across the eight mobile/online sports wagering licensees and the three in-person licensees for the month of December.
