Maryland’s casino industry reported a modest revenue increase in March 2024, with the state’s six casinos generating a combined total of $178.1 million from slot machines and table games. This represents a 0.9% rise from March 2023, marking the fifth-highest revenue month in the history of Maryland’s casino program.
State contributions from casino gaming for March reached $76.5 million, up by 2.6% compared to the same month last year. The Education Trust Fund particularly benefited, receiving $55.2 million, which is an increase of 1.8% from March 2023. Casino revenues also supported local communities, Maryland’s horse racing industry, and small, minority- and women-owned businesses.
