The Cordish Companies, Live! Casino & Hotel Maryland, and the Anne Arundel County Local Development Council (LDC) have awarded more than $19 million in local impact and community grants for Fiscal Year 2026. The funding was announced during the annual grantee award ceremony and luncheon held at Live! Casino & Hotel Maryland’s Event Center.
Since opening in 2012, Live! Casino & Hotel Maryland has supported community organizations across Anne Arundel County through grants funded by gaming tax revenue. Over the past 13 years, the County has allocated more than $387 million from this revenue stream to operational and capital programs, nonprofits, and neighborhood associations.
These funds have contributed to projects such as the Severn Center, which now serves as a home for the local Boys & Girls Club and a Senior Activity Center.
