Maryland’s six privately owned casinos generated $165.7 million in…casino revenue from slot machines and table games during July 2025, according to the Maryland Lottery and Gaming Control Agency. This figure reflects a 2.5% decrease, or $4.2 million, compared to July 2024. Despite the decline, the casinos contributed $71.9 million to the state, including $51.7 million to the Education Trust Fund, supporting schools, local communities, the horse racing industry, and small, minority-, and women-owned businesses in Southern Maryland and beyond.

The Maryland casino revenue was led by MGM National Harbor in Prince George’s County, which reported $68.6 million, down 4.7% from July 2024. Operating 2,261 slot machines and 208 table games, MGM remains the state’s top performer, drawing visitors from Southern Maryland and the D.C. metro area.
