Former Macau satellite casino operator Macau Legend Development Ltd has issued a profit warning on an expected loss of HK$1.57 billion (US$200 million) for the year ended 31 December 2025, widened from HK$623 million (US$79.6 million) a year earlier due to impairment on its former satellite property, Legend Palace.
In a filing, the company revealed that it would recognize a significant impairment loss of approximately HK$1.18 billion (US$151 million) in 2025, primarily arising from a change in fair value of property and equipment and right-of-use assets in relation to its Macau Fisherman’s Wharf precinct.
