The last three dolphins kept at The Mirage on the Las Vegas Strip have been relocated to a sanctuary in the Caribbean.
The Mirage and Coral World Ocean Park announced in a joint statement Tuesday that the three female bottlenose dolphins – Huf-N-Puf, Coco, and Lady Ace – joined the park’s Sea Sanctuary at Water Bay in St. Thomas, part of the U.S. Virgin Islands.
“The dolphins will continue receiving the quality professional care they had at The Mirage, and they will continue to educate the public to care for and protect the ocean,” Mirage President Joe Lupo said in a statement.
