A woman is suing an off-Strip hotel-casino for lack of sufficient security to prevent her from being sexually assaulted and trafficked.

According to the lawsuit filed Feb. 17 in Clark County District Court, the woman, referred to as Jane Doe, is suing the former owners of the Palms casino-hotel — Red Rock Resorts Inc., Station Casinos and PPII Holdings — for negligence for failing to intervene in her sexual assault and sex trafficking that occurred when she was 9 years old.

Red Rock Resorts, which operates Station Casinos, couldn’t immediately be reached for comment.

The lawsuit claims Palms Place provided a room key to Dequincy Brass on Nov. 19, 2016, where he took the plaintiff and another underage girl to a room. Palms Place is a hotel-condo adjacent to the Palms casino-hotel.
