Las Vegas will host a major convention new to the city for three years beginning in 2031, but organizers have asked the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority not to identify it.
Chief Sales Officer Vanessa Claspill on Tuesday told members of the LVCVA board of directors that the new show would produce an estimated 62,000 room nights a year and use The Venetian, Caesars Palace, Wynn Las Vegas and the yet-to-open Hard Rock as its headquarters resorts and also use Allegiant Stadium.
“Room nights” are a standard hospitality metric of a single hotel room occupied, sold or available multiplied by the number of nights stayed.
