The Strip’s giant guitar is nearly fully strummed.
With 36 of its planned 42 stories now poured, the Guitar Hotel Las Vegas is steadily nearing structural completion and making progress toward its scheduled late-2027 opening act.
The guitar-shaped tower will ultimately rise about 660 feet, with the lower 100 feet containing the resort’s first five floors and the remaining 560 feet dedicated to its 675 hotel rooms and suites. Nearly two dozen of those upper floors have already been fitted with two shades of blue glass that will eventually cover the entire exterior.
The work is part of Hard Rock International’s full transformation of the site into the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Las Vegas.
