As is his wont, Flavor Flav has sounded the alarm. And it’s not from his necklace.
The 66-year-old superstar is leading an effort to bring the gold-medal winners in for a celebration in Las Vegas. Flav, who lives in Las Vegas, has garnered support from several of our city’s institutions and leaders. Among them are the Clark County Commission, Mayor Shelley Berkley, Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority, MGM Resorts International, Caesars Entertainment, the D Las Vegas, Golden Gate and Circa co-owner Derek Stevens, Resorts World Las Vegas, the Palms, and several Vegas headlining shows and production companies.
Flav has not returned phone calls or texts asking for specifics or whether the team had formally accepted his offer.
