Formula One Las Vegas Grand Prix circuit preparations will hit the Strip this week as work on the Bellagio Fountain Club hospitality space gets underway.
As crews begin to build the high-end spectator zone over the Fountains at Bellagio, the two right lanes of southbound Las Vegas Boulevard and the sidewalk in front of the Bellagio will be closed, race officials announced Friday. The lane and sidewalk closures in front of the Bellagio will start today and last through the end of December.
The work is tied to preparing the street circuit for race weekend scheduled for Nov. 19-21. The 3.8-mile track mainly uses public roadways including Las Vegas Boulevard, Koval Lane and Harmon and Sands avenues.
