As sports betting becomes increasingly accessible through apps nationwide, Las Vegas casinos are stepping up their game to attract both tourists and locals during the NFL season.
With a decline in tourism, casinos are eager to capitalize on the energy that football season brings.
John Murray of Westgate Las Vegas says they’ve been working on adapting to the new sports betting atmosphere.
“It’s very competitive nowadays. You don’t need to come to Nevada or Las Vegas to bet on sports legally anymore,” Murray said. “You’ve got to give people more of a reason to come out to Las Vegas to come to your sportsbook.”
