The Casino Queen Marquette is rebranding as Bally’s Marquette as construction nears completion on a more than $21 million permanent landside facility.
The project is a dream years in the making for Robin Corbeil. She was one of the first people hired to work on the Casino Queen Marquette when it opened three decades ago.
“In ’94 when we opened, it was crazy. We had a lot of coin. I think my favorite memory was getting rid of coin. Not everybody will agree with that,” Corbeil said.
Corbeil is now the vice president and general manager of the Casino Queen, which is in its final months in operation.
