Kansas’s four casinos post more than $30M in January revenue, down from 2023

According to the Kansas Lottery’s January gaming report, the state’s casinos experienced a downturn in total revenue, amounting to $30,311,619. January revenue represented an 18.9% decrease compared to Kansas casino revenue for December 2023, when revenue reached $37,442,477.

Additionally, compared to January 2023, the decline was 8.46%, with casino revenue totaling $33,114,509 during that period.

Among the four operational casinos in the state, Kansas Star Casino emerged with the highest revenue, reaching $12,024,137. However, despite this figure, it also encountered a decline of 10.51% compared to January 2023, when revenue stood at $13,435,567.

Hollywood Casino, which ranked second in revenue generation, similarly experienced a decrease, recording $11,903,168 in revenue. This represented a 5.77% decline compared to the same period the previous year when revenue reached $12,631,653.
