Despite efforts to legalize sports betting in Kansas falling short for the second year in a row, it must feel like winning legislation is just around the corner.
At least that’s what a recent deal announced by Providence, Rhode Island-based Bally’s Corp. seems to indicate.
The casino-entertainment company, which is preparing to redevelop the former Isle of Capri property in Kansas City, has signed a multiyear agreement with Boot Hill Casino & Resort to offer Bally Bet, its mobile sportsbook, once legislation is approved.
The Dodge City casino is operated by BHCMC LLC, a gaming management subsidiary of Butler National Corp., on behalf of the Kansas Lottery.
