The Rio Hotel & Casino has been undergoing significant changes since pandemic-era new ownership took over, and the latest update is adding extra dimension to one of the most diverse entertainment lineups at any Las Vegas resort. It already boasted Penn & Teller, The Empire Strips Back, WOW – The Vegas Spectacular and the Comedy Cellar before Ivory Star Productions brought some boutique shows to the off-Strip spot, and now a venue refresh has set the stage for even more fun.
John Bentham, founder and producer, launched Ivory Star more than two decades back, bringing a creative array of shows to multiple casinos. At the Rio, Tony n’ Tina’s Wedding and Faaabulous! The Ultimate Drag Brunch Show have been satisfying audiences for months, but renovations at The Venue have created two separate showrooms capable of additional immersive entertainment experiences.
