Cedar Crossing Casino announced it will be soft opening on November 19.
The casino’s General Manager Kim Pang made the announcement at Thursday’s Iowa Racing and Gaming Commission meeting.
The casino will have a ribbon cutting and grand opening on December 5.
Cedar Crossing will include 700 slot machines, 22 table games and a 1,500-seat entertainment venue with concerts and events scheduled through the spring. The development also includes plans for restaurants, an Arts and Culture Center and a STEM lab.
The casino is also hiring approximately 350 positions, with a focus on local employment.
